COTABATO CITY — Three individuals had been killed in two separate gun assaults in Maguindanao del Norte and Maguindanao del Sur provinces on Thursday afternoon.
Two gunmen ambushed two cousins who had been each on board a Honda Civic alongside the nationwide freeway in Shariff Aguak city, Maguindanao del Sur round 5 p.m.
Lt. Col. Reggie Albellera, Shariff Aguak police chief, recognized the fatalities as Johari Moksin and Hamod Moksin, each of Barangay Kulalo, Mamasapano city, Maguindanao del Sur.
Citing police investigations, Albellera mentioned the duo had been coming from Isulan city, Sultan Kudarat, and had been on their means residence once they had been waylaid close to Barangay Labu-Labu Mom, Shariff Aguak.
Each died on the spot. The motive of the assault stays unknown, mentioned Albellera.

Hours earlier, an unidentified gunman shot useless a feminine worker of the Ministry of Public Works within the Bangsamoro Autonomous Area in Muslim Mindanao (MPW-BARMM).
Lt. Col. Roy Subsuban, Datu Odin Sinsuat police chief, recognized the sufferer as Darlene Pacete, 36, of Sitio Mintex, Tamontaka, in Datu Odin Sinsuat city, who works within the upkeep part of MPW.
Pacete was having lunch at a roadside carinderia in Sitio Grotto, Barangay Tamontaka, when she was shot.

She sustained a gunshot wound within the head and died immediately. The suspect fled on a motorcycle.
Subsuban advised reporters the police have launched a manhunt for the suspect, including that the motive of the assault just isn’t but identified.
