PAGADIAN CITY, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, Philippines — Authorities arrested three suspected merchants of illicit medication and seized some three kilograms of meth in a drug buy-bust operation in Zamboanga Metropolis on Saturday.
Brig. Gen. Bowenn Joey Masauding, police director of the Zamboanga Peninsula area, stated the raid, collectively finished by Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 9 and Joint Activity Power Poseidon, occurred in Sitio San Ramon of Talisayan village, Zamboanga Metropolis.

Masauding recognized the three arrested suspects as Mario Jalilul of Bongao, Tawi-Tawi province; Alsid Sahiron and Ridsman Majini, each of Pata, Sulu province.
He added that the three have been listed within the police’s precedence targets.
The seized medication have been contained in three vacuum-sealed plastic packs and have been estimated to be valued at P20.4 million.
The seized medication have been submitted to the Regional Forensic Unit 9 for evaluation whereas the three suspects have been detained on the Zamboanga Metropolis Police Workplace whereas awaiting the submitting of costs.
