Followers of alt-metal heroes Halestorm received’t have an excessive amount of longer to attend on a comply with as much as the band’s 2022 LP Again From the Lifeless, as frontwoman Lzzy Hale has confirmed that the band is near ending up their new album within the studio proper now with producer Dave Cobb. In a latest interview with Louisville, Kentucky radio station ALT 105.1 (that was transcribed by Blabbermouth) Hale talked about their progress on making the album.
“We have had three separate periods within the studio with — we’re making a file with [producer] Dave Cobb,” Hale defined. “And he is really an enormous closet steel fan, and so he is actually excited. And so we’re making this nice music, however we’re consistently touring. So we have had, like, three completely different periods within the studio. We’re in all probability — what? — 70, 80, perhaps, p.c there. We’ve a studio in our home and so I am doing lots of the ending touches on vocals and stitching every part up, doing solos and all that. After which we get again in in December to only say, ‘Okay, that is good.’ After which, yeah. After which there we’re. So we’re enthusiastic about it. We actually are.”
Whereas Cobb is thought primarily for nation music, notably as a lot of his awards, together with a number of of his Grammy awards, are for nation albums, he’s not really an entire stranger to the steel world. Cobb produced Slash’s album 4 that he recorded with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, in addition to Sammy Hagar and the Circle’s 2022 album Loopy Instances. So it appears applicable to have him engaged on the most recent album from Halestorm. We look ahead to listening to it.
