MANILA, Philippines — Karlo Nograles on Tuesday formalized his intention to run for mayor of Davao Metropolis.
Nograles filed his certificates of candidacy a day after he resigned as chairperson of the Civil Service Fee (CSC).
In his resignation letter, Nograles mentioned he plans to convey and apply the teachings he discovered whereas serving as CSC chief and a public servant to his hometown.
“This expertise has moved me to return to my roots in Davao Metropolis the place I hope to convey and apply the teachings I’ve discovered in my tenure as the pinnacle of the Fee, in addition to my twenty years in authorities,” he mentioned in his resignation letter addressed to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
