ORLANDO, Florida — The Orlando Magic agreed to a contract extension with heart Wendell Carter Jr. on Monday.
Carter averaged 11 factors on 52.5% capturing in 55 video games final season to assist the Magic attain the NBA postseason.
Carter, the No. 7 choose within the 2018 NBA draft, is about to make $12 million this season. Phrases of the extension weren’t disclosed.
The 6-foot-10 Carter performed one season at Duke earlier than he was chosen by Chicago.
The Magic acquired him from the Bulls on March 25, 2021.
Carter, 25, has averaged 12.5 factors and eight.5 rebounds in 315 profession video games.
