What are the prospects for peace in Sudan? | Sudan conflict


Sudan’s military has launched an offensive to retake the capital, Khartoum, and surrounding areas from the Speedy Help Forces, a rival paramilitary.

The assault comes greater than a 12 months into the devastating conflict, which has induced one of many world’s largest humanitarian crises, the outbreak of illness and widespread displacement.

But there isn’t any finish in sight to the battle, which has killed 1000’s of individuals.

Will the military defeat the paramilitary forces? And what lies forward for Sudan and its individuals?
