FIERY-BILLED ARACARI – (Species Account Weblog #115)

The Fiery-billed Aracari’s beak is massive, with the higher half being fiery-orange and black on the decrease portion; invoice is exclusive in that it’s inexperienced on the base. The naked facial pores and skin is black, turning to a reddish-brown shade behind the yellow eye. The top and chest are black, with higher physique being deep olive-green. The thighs are reddish-brown; the higher tail and rump are crimson, with a crimson collar on the again neck; legs are inexperienced. The intense yellow underparts are highlighted with a crimson band crossing the stomach and a spherical black spot centered on the breast. (from Birds of the World)

In Costa Rica we noticed Fiery-billed Aracari a number of occasions whereas within the Punta Leona space.
