The Critics Alternative Affiliation on Thursday revealed its full checklist of honorees for the group’s third annual Celebration of AAPI Cinema & Tv, recognizing standout performances and work by the AAPI leisure group. The occasion is about for November 12 on the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
The checklist contains Squid Sport Emmy winner Lee Jung-jae receiving the Trailblazer Award, The Day by day Present‘s Ronny Chieng the Comedy Award, Cannes Palme d’Or winner Anora producer Samantha Quan the Producer Award, Ghostlight star Dolly de Leon the Supporting Actress Award – Movie and Ghosts star Utkarsh Ambudkar the Actor Award – Collection.
Further honorees embrace Trade‘s Ken Leung for Supporting Actor Award – Collection, The Final of the Sea Girls director-producer Sue Kim the Documentary Award (additionally being acknowledged with a Starz #TakeTheLead designation), Inside Chinatown star Jimmy O. Yang the Breakthrough Actor Award, Rescue: HI-Surf star Kekoa Scott Kekumano the Rising Star Award and Academy Museum of Movement Footage trustee Julia S. Gouw the Trade Management Award.
The Moana 2 staff of administrators David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand and Dana Ledoux Miller and producers Christina Chen and Yvett Merino will obtain the Animation Award.
The honorees be part of Joan Chen, who’s being lauded with the Profession Achievement Award.
“We’re immensely proud to return for a 3rd 12 months to showcase these unbelievable tasks and spotlight the work of those extraordinary people from the AAPI group,” stated Critics Alternative Affiliation member Kylie Mar, who serves as host, author and co-programmer for the gala.
The information comes after the Critics Alternative Affiliation on Tuesday held its Celebration of Latino Cinema & Tv ceremony. The group is gearing up for its annual Critics Alternative Awards movie and TV nominations in December, with the Critics Alternative Awards to air January 14.
