Little Feat pours their motley vitality into ‘Sam’s Place’ : World Cafe : World Cafe Phrases and Music Podcast : NPR

Though Little Feat was based over 50 years in the past, the band co-founded by Lowell George and led by Invoice Payne has flourished with their gumbo method to rock and roll.

Their latest album, Sam’s Place, shines the highlight on longtime member Sam Clayton, who takes lead vocal duties for the primary time since he joined the band in 1972.

On this session, Payne and the remainder of Little Feat be a part of us for a studio session in entrance of a stay viewers. Additionally they speak about making Sam’s Place and how the band has been re-energized due to its youthful members.
