Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ, in accordance with Saint Luke 9, 18-22.
As soon as when Jesus was praying in solitude, and the disciples had been with him, he requested them, “Who do the crowds say that I’m?”
They stated in reply, “John the Baptist; others, Elijah; nonetheless others, ‘One of many historical prophets has arisen.’”
Then he stated to them, “However who do you say that I’m?” Peter stated in reply, “The Messiah of God.”
