Frenchie, the Franco-English singer-songwriter previously referred to as the Bare Eye, has introduced her self-titled debut album. Produced by jazz guitarist Femi Temowo (SAULT, Amy Winehouse), the LP arrives on March 28. To mark the announcement, the artist has shared the monitor ‘Love Reservoir’, which options vocals by Frida Touray. Test it out under.
“‘Love Reservoir’ lyrically explores the theme of searching for to refuel and revitalise a relationship’s emotional reservoir, symbolising a need to beat challenges and nurture love and connection,” Frenchie mentioned in an announcement. “Femi and I wrote the track collectively – and I knew I wished my gifted pal Frida Touray to function on the monitor. When she got here all the way down to report her vocals, the track was elevated to an entire new stage.”
Frenchie options keys participant Luke Smith, KOKOROKO drummer Ayo Salawu, backing vocals from Hohnen Ford and Friday Touray, and additions instrumental and manufacturing contributions from Aaron Taylor, Alex Maydew, Chris Hyson, and Jas Kayser.
