There are few bands extra enmeshed within the Denver music scene than Nathaniel Rateliff & The Evening Sweats.
Rateliff began out taking part in within the metropolis within the early 2000s, and now, he’s serving to nurture the following era of musicians there with a venue he co-owns referred to as The Skylark Lounge. That’s the place we met up with Nathaniel to file at this time’s session, as we kick off our model new Sense of Place: Colorado collection.
Developing, Rateliff performs stay and he talks about writing his newest album, South of Right here, in a bat-infested room; about coping with anxiousness; concerning the impression of his breakout hit “S.O.B.”; and about his journey to Colorado along with his longtime pal and Evening Sweats bassist Joseph Pope.
