Northern Emerald-Toucanet is a small toucan of humid montane forests of Central America; it’s the northernmost species of toucan, occurring north to jap Mexico. Like different species of Aulacorhynchus, it’s primarily vibrant inexperienced, with a blue throat (in Costa Rica), and rufous undertail coverts and rufous tricks to the rectrices. SIMILAR SPECIES
Inside its vary, no different inexperienced toucan happens on this area, and so confusion with different species is extraordinarily unlikely.

PERSONAL OBSERVATION ANECDOTES
In Costa Rica we noticed Northern Emerald Toucanet a number of occasions whereas within the mid-elevation Talamanca Vary close to Copay-de-Dota and Miriam’s Restaurant and in addition at Soda Cinchona within the Cordillera Central.
